G'day Townsville,
Y QUEENSLAND*
IS COMING
The Y Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation with leading services in childcare, education, youth, community programs and more.
At Y Queensland, we understand the importance of smooth transitions, especially those critical early years moving from early learning to school. We're more than just a place; we're a community dedicated to supporting your child's growth every step of the way.
From our nurturing Early Learning Centres for children from birth to under 5, which lay a strong foundation for future learning, to our engaging Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) for prep to 12-year-olds, designed to support that crucial transition into school and beyond, and our vital school breakfast programs combating childhood hunger, we offer a continuum of care that grows with your family.
With over 155 years of experience supporting Australian families, we create familiar, safe spaces where children grow in body, mind, and spirit. We're proud to offer a comprehensive range of services designed to nurture happy, healthy, and confident young people.
EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
You'll love the way they grow.
With experience nurturing young children since our first Early Learning Centre opened in Queensland in 1977, we provide a strong foundation for a successful transition to school. Our Early Learning Centres offer stimulating play-based learning that fosters creativity and development. We focus on building a strong foundation for future learning, ensuring children feel confident and prepared for their next big adventure.

OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE
YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides engaging before school care, after school care, and vacation care for children up to 12 years old.
We know that starting school is a big step. At Y OSHC, our experience in working with children through various stages means we're well-equipped to support your child through this important transition and beyond. We partner closely with parents, schools, and the community to create fun, engaging programs that make this change easier and help children thrive in a caring and supportive environment.

SCHOOLS' BREAKFAST PROGRAM
Healthy starts for healthy futures.
At Y Queensland, we have a mission to reduce the number of school students disadvantaged by hunger and poor nutrition. Our YMCA Schools’ Breakfast Program provides over 101,000+ children on any one day with a healthy breakfast across 400+ schools in Queensland. The program provides food, equipment and support to schools free of charge, so that schools are able to provide free breakfast to all children.
