Your Local Op Shops Brisbane & Moreton Bay

YMCA Op Shops have become a special part of local communities, since our first store opened at the beginning of 2017. We are known for quality vintage clothing and being the #1 destination for affordable and pre-loved items such as books, shoes, bags, kitchenware, home decor, toys, accessories and other treasures for sale. Everything you buy or donate makes a difference and helps change your local communities for the better.

We are committed to making a difference by:

  • Raising money for YMCA Social Impact programs, including the Schools’ Breakfast program & Cancer Survivors program;
  • Providing a community space for Y Schools Queensland students to complete their retail certificate;
  • Making a positive environmental impact by recycling quality goods destined for landfill.

To provide additional support to vulnerable community members, The Y also partners with local community centres to distribute personalised shopping vouchers for those in need.

Volunteers are an integral part of YMCA Op Shops, and become a member of the Y family. We are always looking for individuals, regardless of age & skills, to bring fresh energy and ideas.

Donate Goods

Have any clothes, shoes, accessories, books, kitchenware, home decor or other treasures you no longer need? We would love them. If they’re in good condition, something you would give a friend, we can sell them in our op shops. The money raised will fund our impact programs and community centres.
