Free Trial: Terms Of Service
1. Promotional details
The gymnastics free trial promotion can be used between 1 January 2020 and 19 December 2020.
The promotion allows a child or adult to enrol in one gymnastics program free of charge for one session. The promotion can only be used to attend one lesson in the gymnastics program and must be booked in prior to the lesson commencing.
The priority of class bookings is always given to members who pay at the time of booking. Therefore, when a free trial is booked for a certain day and time, if after the free trial is completed, that particular class has since become full, then an alternate class day and time will be offered to the free trial participant to book into and pay for. All free trial class participants must report to the reception after the class has finished to confirm the booking for the following week /remainder of the term in a suitable class day and timeslot. If confirmation payment has not been received within 24 hours of the trial class finishing, then the booking will be cancelled and the spot opened up for other members. The promotion can only be used once per participant, per year.
Participants can trial one class of their interest only (depending on centre availability and eligibility to join the program): Y KinderGym, Y Steps, Ninja Gymnastics, Gym Fit, Team Gym, Adult Gymnastics, Fitter for Life 50+. During the trial, participants cannot attend classes at multiple centres, and will not be able to commence a second free trial at a different centre after their first trial expires.
2. Information we collect
In order to enrol in a free trial, YMCA Brisbane must collect the participant’s name and age, their guardian’s name, email, address and phone number as well as emergency contact details of a second parent/guardian (name and phone only).
If an adult is participating in the free trial, we must collect their name, age, email, phone number and address.
