Youth Space
The Link's Youth Space is safe environment for young people age 12-25 to be empowered and to take ownership of activities and recreation events. With afterschool events held throughout the term and school holiday activities on offer - we cater to a range of interests including arts, sports, gaming and more.
The LINK YMCA offers a youth Drop-In space for young people aged 15 - 25 to empower our local youth community. We know from experience that young people connect best when they feel they have autonomy and ownership. The space gives young people a safe and inclusive atmosphere to engage in a range of structured and unstructured activities. The needs and interests of the young people in the community will constantly mould the service. The service is open from 3pm – 5pm Monday to Friday. For more information please contact
The LINK offers a free recording studio for young people. The studio is equipped with both music recording equipment and podcasting equipment. Bookings can be made by contacting The LINK at

By hiring our spaces, you are helping support our youth programs at The Link. In turn, we also aim to make our spaces a beloved community resource, accessible to all who may need somewhere to come. Learning Area 1 is a unique 70m2 space featuring an ambient setting, soft seating, benches, tables, chairs, whiteboards and a smart TV, with HDMI cabling for computer connection. Suitable for a relaxed meeting, group activity or recreation area for approximately 20 people. It is possible at request, for concertina walls to be removed and include the hire of Learning Area 2 (65m2) which would double the space, at an additional cost.
All Learning Areas are inclusive of vibrant Outdoor Learning Spaces.
Learning Area 2 is a warm 65m2 room featuring various soft seating, tables, chairs, whiteboards and a smart TV, with HDMI cabling for computer connection. Learning Area 4 is a fresh 70m2 environment, featuring tables, chairs, and whiteboards. This space is suitable for a meeting, group, workshops, activity or recreation area for approximately 20 people. It is possible at request, for concertina walls to be removed and include the hire of Learning Area 3 (65m2) which would double the space, at an additional cost.

The Creative Arts Room available for hire is 100m2, and could comfortable occupy up to 35 people. Enjoy a dynamic space for workshops, education events, meetings or recreational activities. It is possible at request, for concertina walls to be removed and include the hire of the Manual Arts & Training Room (73m2) which would double the space, at an additional cost.
Our light-filled Manual Arts & Vocational Room is 73m2, and can host approximately 15 – 20 people. A dynamic space for woodwork and construction workshops, educational events, meetings or recreational activities. It is possible at request, for concertina walls to be removed and include the hire of the neighbouring Creative Arts Room (100m2) which would double the space, at an additional cost.
Host your next meeting in our large consultation room, featuring seating and tables for up to 30 people, and includes whiteboards and access to a smart TV. Additional access to the commercial-grade kitchen attracts a fee of $35 per event, for your own food preparation, tea and coffee use.
The 185m2 large and vibrant Multipurpose and Sporting Hall is great space that can house an event of up to approximately 200 people, or be utilised for a whole range of sporting, recreational or business activities. With vertical blinds on all floor-to-ceiling large glass window panes, the Hall can be lit with natural lighting, or darkened to use the projector, or access to the smart TV.
Generic use of the main commercial grade kitchen facility as an addition to room hire; for the purposes of general food preparation, tea and coffee; attracts a fee of $35 per event. To hire full occupation of the kitchen and café area, is available at an hourly rate, and includes fridges, ovens, dishwashers and a microwave.
